Wake up song

Every morning when we wake up I sing you
"Our Wake up song"
Your Great Grandma Audrey loved this song as a child
and sang it to your Grandma Julie when she was growing up.
And Grandma Julie sang it to Me
when I was growing up,
So now its my turn to sing this special song to my kids.

Here are the words...

Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head

Get up, get up, get out of bed

Cheer up, cheer up the sun is red

Live, love, laugh and be happy.

What if I've been blue,
Now I'm walking through fields of flowers

Rain may glisten, but I still listen for hours and hours.

I'm just a kid again, doing what I did again, singing a song,

When the red, red robin comes bob, bob bobbin' along.
There'll be no more sobbing when he starts throbbing
His own sweet song.
-Al Jolson (When The Red, Red Robin Comes Bob, Bob Bobbin' )

Its so cute when Ethan sings along with me..
He knows most of the song,
but he loves to make people laugh
and he will change the wording to be funny.

He'll say "what if I was ORANGE" and start cracking up ha ha
I hope that Ethan and Addisyn
will one day sing this song to their children.
