Here goes....

We were wanting to document these special family moments to look back on one day and laugh..or cry ha ha

So here goes....

I should’ve started at the beginning of Jan. , but you know me and I’m always late ha ha
So I will start with the Jan. happenings :)
( ok I lied I may throw some in from December. Starting with the Birth of our Perfect little Girl. )

Addisyn Renee

The plan was to be induced on your Grandma Julies birthday (Dec.1) ,
But like your mother you were being stubborn.

On Dec. 5th I started having a few contractions, so I decided to drink some castrol oil to help you along ha ha. Grandma Julie made me walk around the neighborhood, up and down the steps, and wouldnt let me sit down. Im pretty sure she loved bossing me around ha ha. My contractions started becoming more consistent so we called Dr. Copeland. He said to go ahead and go to the hospital to get checked.

When the nurse checked me I was barely dilated, but they hooked me up to the monitor anyways.

Im convinced she felt bad for me because I was HUGE and looked miserable ha ha , so she told me to walk around and maybe just maybe I would dilate more.
So Daddy & I walked for what seemed like days and they checked me again . I had made little progress, but they decided to keep me overnight. I battled with contractions all night long while your Daddy snoozed in the hospital couch/bed. He looked so uncomfortable with his feet hanging over the "bed" , no pillow, and a small blanket ha ha.

They started pitocin around 7:00 am & I got an epidural shortly after.
Grandma Julie, Grandma Joyce, and Aunt Mea came and chatted while I caught up on some much needed sleep.

The nurse came in and said it was time to start pushing.
We couldn't believe that in just a few minutes we were going to meet our precious little girl.
After a few short pushes we heard your adorable first cry. It absolutely melted our hearts and we instantly fell in love.

We went over the usual checklist...
Its a girl...check, 10 fingers and 10 toes...check, one sweet button nose...check .

You were absolutely Perfect.

Ethan was shy the first time he met you,
but as soon as he held you in his little arms he too fell in love.
He covered you in kisses and instantly became a very Proud big brother.
